

War Part IIArkoth surveyed his troops, each with a stern countenance, he knew they were ready. This battle hardened group was the most elite guard in the kingdom. Arkoth, having trained many of them himself, held faith that his army would not falter in the wake of the enemy. Still, he had to assure them of his confidence, he called them to attention. He made his way to the front, calling his officers forward to report. Each saluted and fell back into line; Arkoth eased his troops and started his speech. War Part IAnd so the journey begins. This road is fraught with peril but we partake it with stoic vigilance. This is the path I must take; For me. -Arkoth Commander! A scout saluted Arkoth, shaking him from his thoughts, The orcs are encroaching from the east; they head for our barricades. The men are restless, sir. The scout finished reporting with a nervous glance at his commander. Arkoth was an intimidating figure by all standards with battle prowess well renowned through out his ranks, it was ill permitted to upset him. Reiner's story WIPReiner wiped the sweat off his brow as he looked up at the sky. Training had been extremely difficult that day with the sun beating down on him. He took a deep breath and started his routine again, going through many abdominal and leg exercises. After he finished his daily workout he started for the obstacle course he had built for his recruits. Everyday he went out and ran his training course, affectionately named Insanity's Climb. He kept his body at the peak of physical shape, helping him keep the top time for his course. After all, he was the leader and it was his course. Marcus Porter WIPHelicopters, that was all he had remembered over the past three days. They were getting closer, he knew that, but they had not found him yet. He knew that he had to reach the next safe-house before they caught onto his trail. He quickly got up gathering up his pack, which he used as a makeshift pillow. Inside of his pack was some money, food, and a pistol with a flashlight attached to the barrel. All of these supplies he had replenished in the various safe-houses, in which he found help from others. The others never asked him where he was going or why he was running, they all knew, Marcus Porter was a bit of a celebrity in the lower citMarcus Porter WIP
